Fun fact: In the movie, it is said that by losing two stars and becoming an « only » 3 stars restaurant, Gusteau’s lost a lot of prestige. BUT In France the gastronomic notation system IS on 3 stars. So it is the actual maximum of excellence. We don’t do 5 stars.

I *always* tell people my favorite Pixar ending is where Remy the rat and Linguini the human make out, whilst both of his hands are cut off, bleeding out at the wrist, on the rooftop of some building, with the beautiful Parisian sunset adorning the background. It's a classic.
